It provides "that the Texas and Pa cific Railroad may connect with, consolidate with, or lease any other railroad, at either end of the road, to make a through con nection to San Francisco." Tonnage advices from New York to January 29th report a disposi tion to send ships to the Pacific coast; owing to the flattering pros pects. Two new ships, which lately cleared from New York' to San Francisco, have been char tered to load wheat for England upon arrival at 4. The names of these two ships sire the Carrollton, 1,450 tons, and the Undaunted, l,7t34 tons, now forty-seven and sixteen days out respectively. These figures indicate a strong market for the remainder of the crop year.
