The Echo has on several occa sions called the attention of the commissioner's court ol Chelan county to the unsafe condition of the bridge which spans the Wenatchee river near this town. A regular meeting of the court will convene in July, and this bridge matter is again pressed upon their attention. The condition of the bridge is growing rapidly worse. It is being used every day by people who are almost compelled to cross it in coming to town, rather than go twelve miles out of the way. The bridge at Peshastin is the only other means of getting across the river. A notice was posted up some three or four weeks ago warning the public that the bridge was unsafe, but these notices can no longer be read....
