About a century and a quarter ago the inhabitants of. the-- little town of Boston awoke one morning to find their harbor black with English tea. The war-note sounded in that significant action shook England to her centre, for it was the bugle call to the -fierce struggle which ended in the realisation o* the independence of the thirteen little States ihe off spring of the colony -established in 1660. That war was engraved on the ?page of history as. the American War of Independence,. and was entirely the result of a similar oppression to that now submitted lo by colonial mining com panies registered in England.
