Cattle are an attraction, when the cattle are good, to all, and the crowd; which paraded the space between the pens yesterday was enthusiastic. They were not all critical, but they were unanimous regarding one point— condi- tion. This one quality stood out prom inently In every animal in the competi tive classes In beef breeds, freezers and butchers' cattle. As a matter of fact there appeared to be too much condi tion In the freezers. In one lot of the dairy class, and In the Government heifers condition was not a strong point, but the absence of adipose tis sue vt-lll not detract from the auction value of the latter, because the expert buyer will know whether there Is sub stance to put the condition on or not.' The inexperienced is done with the cat tle after he has 'talked condition and general looks. The ladies liked the white-faced, flat-backed, comfortable, f?ood-tempored Herefords— the ' bai lies ' w...
