Motor-bus Stand SOLE RIGHTS DE'S1 ElI. Mr. W. J. Alcorn wrote to the Moo rmubiu Shire Council on Monday apply in;, for the solo right as to first posi tion on tihe stand opposite the Saud rillghain station. He would be pre pared to maintain a regular service throughlout the year provided he had the support of residents. Cr. Scudds said lie would like to grint the request as the motor buses were a boon to the residents, but he could not see hoir tle council could depart from their regulations. t'r. Kelly considered that if the pro pri.tor would iglarantee a regular ser ice, lie should be encouragecd. The President (Cr Ferdinando) saiil it was doubtful if the buses would l throughout the year, and the llack Iock people would be without means excepting tile horse tram, of gctting to Sandringlham. He imen tioed that on Saturday all the buses were at the races, and the public were left in the lurch. It was resolved that Mr. Alcorn.l e ilnormed the council could not grant the request.
