THEY SAY; That opportunities, liko girlu, wore made to be embraced. That woman is a puzzlo, but man seldom gives her up. That the spider has gone back into its web since it was ' Pressed.' That Cupid, in the case of the stout woman, finds love a waist of timo. That tho Longwarry " Sam Shick " was in his element last Saturday night. That often as not when the color leaves a Drouin girl's cheek, it remains on her best boy's shoulder. That a couple of sixteeners (not " nineteeners ") were looking for flour the other night in Bnnyip township. That a ring round the moon is said to be a sign of stormy weathor. So is the ring round the engaged girl's finger. That the foreign gentleman made a rather basty retreat from tho Club at Warragul, and won't even go back for his letters. That tlio population has increased do>vn the Junction way, tho new comers being mostly of tender years. ISfext, please 1 That Mr. P. H.
