A loiifj debate ensued, afier which llie coinniiltee agreed to (ill up the blank in the hill with $'25,000, and reported it to the house. The hill was then ordered to a third reading, and the house adjourned. June 10. The senate did not hit. House This being petition day a number of petitions were presented on a variety of subjects. Mr. Adams, as usual, threw the house into a ferment with his abolition petitions, after which he presented a number of petitions on other subjects, among which was one from citizens of Ilaltimorc, praying that John Quiiiry Adams may be expelled from the house. Mr. Fillmore front the committee on ways and means reported a hill making appropriations for the expenses of the extra session. Ordered to be printed. Mr....

About 12 o'clock yesterday the prisoners were taken from the jail, in custody of the Sheriff ami various officers, anil accompanied by several clergymen, the whole of whom were encompassed by a formidable military guard, composed of the St. Loins Grays ami the City Guards. An immense concourse of citizens followed to the place of execution, one mile and a half from the jail, below the city, on an eminence below Duncan's Island. The prisoners were conducted on foot, each inarching with a firm step, and keeping the strictest time with the lap of the drum. The gallows was formed of four shafts or sweeps, firmly attached and on the same axle. A large w eight was placed upon one end, sustained by a lly block about six feet from the ground.
