One of tho most successful untl en joyable events ever given inHa.vtl took place In the city hull lust Wed nesday night, under the auspices of the local Tribe of Red Men. and con sisted of a .social and supper for the members and their families. Rev. Fallin acted us master of cere monies, and Professors H. L. David son and U. S. Stearns addressed the meeting on the growth of the order, and its beauties. Prof. H. L. David son showed that there wero more than 700 Red Men now in Pemiscot countj, although the oldest tribe is but eight months old. A most bounteous spread of chicken and other meats, pies, cakes, fruit, und in fact everything good to eat, was partaken of by all present, und u most sociable time enjoyed.
