VOL 10. NO. 24. SEATTLE, THE WIEEN CITY Wild West Entertainment at Calgary--Party Homeward Bound (Concluded from last week.) The editorial party left Victoria Thursday morning, July 1-tth, on the handsome X. P. steamer, City of Kingston, and arrived at Seat tle about 2 p. m., after a delight ful voyage on the Straits of Fuca and Paget Sound. A short stop was made at Port Townsend, where the government is erecting great fortifications. Several went ashore to look over the town, which is rather a pretty place, and walk on Yankee soil again. Along the shore on both sides of the sound we saw little towns, now and then, and the picture of the placid waters, the towns hug ging the shore, the forest-clad hills behind rising into mountoins, was a grand one. The air was re markably clear, and our old friend, Mt. Baker, was visible. Thanks giving services were held on the steamer, the situation the previous Sunday preventing compliance with the president's request. There was singing, pra...

St. Paul Globe (13): Executive Agent Fullerton returned yesterday from Northern Minnesota, where he unearthed one of the smoothest schemes for evading the state game law yet discovered.
