glanalbsrnbi11c Elgicf. A Hint for Bores. Some years ago there lived a gen tleman of indolent habits in Sussex, who made a business, in the winter season, of visiting his friends exten sively. After wearing out his welcome in his own immediate vicinity last win ter he thought he would visit an old Quaker friend, some twenty miles dis tant, who had been a school fellow of his. On his arrival he was cordially received by the Quaker, he thinking his visitor had taken much pains to cone so far to see him. Boarman, who was the Fusion candidate for Congress from the Fourth District to All the vacan cy caused by the death of Hon. James McCleery, has been admitted to a seat in Congress. Four thousand troops arrived in the city of New Orleans Thursday from different points, some coming from as far as Louisville. Perhaps this indi cates that the Government intends to enforce the decisions of the federal courts with regard to the State elee tion, and perhaps it doesn't. Time will tell.
