FARM AND FIRESIDE. Strawberry Blight We here complaint from all over our country about the above disease of the Strawberry plant, asking the cause and reniedby of the same. It is the general opinion that it is caused wholly by a fun? gus attackiug the leaf. This may lepart ly the cause, but it is my opinion there are other causes. Having watched It for several years past, I have always found It WSSSi, or of any account ouly in certain seasons, such as the past, when we have a fiuc March and April sad plants start off finely, then a cold spell in May with frost, which checks suddenly the growth vf the plants.
