Only twelve members were present. A report of the year's receipts and disbursements was heard and a unanimous wish expressed for its publication. Harrison Trow of Hereford, , who was reared in Jackson , Missouri, topped the Texas market yesterday with string of 140 head of hi* own raising that sold at $4.55, which was not bad price for a string of young steers. Five year ago Capt. Trow left Missouri and located in the Pan handle country, where he has been making a great success at stock farming. Capt. Trow farms about 400 acres of land and raises all the rough feed necessary to carry his cattle through the winter in the very best of shape. He raises cane, Kaffir corn and other good feeds that he finds most profitable, and he never fails to top the Texas stocker market when he brines in a string.
