OBITUARY. MRS. MARGARET M'GRATH. [Newspaper Article] — St Arnaud Mercury — 17 January 1914

OBITUARY. MRS. MARGARET M'GRATH. Deep regret was expressed by very many friends in St. Arnaud on Thursday, when it was announced that a well known resident of Sutherland, Mrs. Margaret M'Grath, had died the previous evening. Deceased, who was 57 years of age, was the wife of Mr, Patrick M'Grath. The sad news came as a great shock to those who were not aware that Mrs M'Grath had been ill, and it was only a comparatively short time previously that they had seen her in St. Arnaud, apparently in her usual good health. The cause of death was diabetes. Deceased was born in County Cork, Ireland, in 1857, and cameo to Victoria when quite a child. She was married at Creswick 40 years ago, and she and her husband soon afterwards removed to Sutherland. In which locality Mr. M'Grath w...
