ANZAC DAY At Gerringong The Anzac Commemoration Seri vice under the auspices of the Ger ringoug ggh-branch oa thi Re turned Soldiers League was.held :in the School of Arts on Sunday night, 20th :April, when there was a large' attendance. The Service opened with the sing ing of the hymn "0 God our Help in Ages Past" which was followed by: all repeating the Lor'd's Prayer. The President of the Sub-branch (Mr. H. N. Miller) said in his opin ion they were commemorating the most honoured day in Australian'hid toi'y. They met to honour those who had fallen in two wars and to respect those who had fought and returned honme., He said he felt sure it was the sincere wish of all that .the 'ever guiding hahd of God shall guide all Kings and leaders that peace may 'be retained.
