In the 'Bu. grade mat ch, which -was- of nec.sss.lty a mixture of 'B' and !tC' grade teams, though1 predominantly tJClt grade, we were victorious by 1-0* Many good hockey movements by our team were seen during 'this mat crh, but were marred by not keeping behind the. ball coming off the body or legs. ?The scorer for University being Perciyal who with a very nice hard shot, forced the ball through a mass of sticks and Tegs to go nicely .into the goal?. I To those who think the Food for Britain Appeal should be substituted for W.S.R. , the action of British universities is a complete answer - they support W.S *R. gladly to the limit of their resources. Australia is one of the few countries which can support both appeals twice or ? three times as effectively as hitherto, without approaching real hardship.
