He will be here for several days. J. P. Crawford and Tax As sessor Luna were passengers up to Amarillo Monday evening. Jack Scott opened up the fish ing season last Tuesday by catching a 5-lb bass.. This is the best that has been caught this season. Lee Shifflett will pay you 12i cents per dozen, cash, for all the eggs he can get, and will pay from $3 to SI per dozen for chickens. J. I. Campbell shipped in 250 head of high-grade Durham stock cattle Tuesday night from Quanah. He purchased them from a Mr. Pennington and will put them on his ranch.
