Each an event ai the caning of a ship for a European port, with a fall cargo of mostly Island produce, is moit worthy of mention. Her cargo was valued at $10,641.25, at the Costom-House. We hare to report the following arrivals from foreign ports, via.: April 29, Am. hark Vernon, from Puget Sound, with lumber ; April 20th. Am brig Morning Star, from Marquesas Islands ; May 3, Am. bark Comet, from Ban Francisco, with general merchandise. The cargo of the Vernon has been sold to one of our dealers on private terms; the vessel re turns in ballast to the mill. The Am. bark Florence sailed on the 3d inet., on a fishing voyage to the Ochotsk Sea, having procured all the salt previously ordered for her. The other vessels sent here to load salt, will not be able to obtain the quantity needed our principal manufacturer falling considerably sho...

We have to report the following arrivals from foreign ports : May 19 Am. ship Reso luie.'from Sao Francisco ; May 20 Am. ship Sumatra, from San Francisco ; May 23 Am. t earner Idaho and srbr. M. A. Snow, from San Francisco; May 21 Am. brig North Star, from Unmboldt. The departures were? May 20 Am. ship Sumatra, for Hong Kong; May 22 IT. G. bark Doniinga, and Am. brig Manuclla, both for the North ; May 24 Am. ship Kesorate, for Baker's Island. Tho Sumatra took a small amount of freight and some passengers, for Hong Kong. The Dominga and Manuella, having obtained all the salt required, proceeded on fishing voyages. The Idaho brings about 300 tons of freight, jind will leae with a full cargo of sugar, pulu, fruit, etc., on Friday next. The M. A. Snow brings a full cargo, and is offered for sale. She is a line schooner, of about 100 tons ca pacity, and would be a valuable acquisition for the coasting trade, being a very fast sailer. The North Star...

COJIJIEKCIAL.. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 1869. The steamship Idaho sailed promptly on Friday, the 2Sth ult., with a fall cargo of sugar and other produce, and over 40 nassen gers, bound for San Yranciseo. The manifest value of her cargo il pot down at 5o3,8C3 61. The Brituh bark Briton, arrived onthe26th nit., C5 days from Melbonrne, and brings some 550 tons of coal. The Am bark J W Searer, from San Fran cisco for Fetropanlsky, arrived yesterday in distress, Laving experienced severe weather. The Am brig North Star is loading for Fort land, and will be dispatched on Saturday, the 5th inst. Her cargo will consist principally of sugar. The schooner Flying Dart sailed on the 29th nit., with 50 tons salt, on a fishing voyage to the North. The schooner Nettie Merrill has been char tered for a voyage to Johnston's or Cornwallis Tsland and back. She sailed yesterday, and may be expected back here about tho 1st of July next.
