ThomssTT Jtodger, who is among tie saved arrived here in the Louis uina, is able, from his experience as a sea captain as well as from the dose connection in which his exertions on board the wreck brought him with Capt. Herndon and of ficers, to giT more accurate and reliable acoount of the disaster than perhaps any other of the saved. We have taken down from bis dictation the annexed full and in teresting narative : We left Havana on Tuesday, 8th Sept. in company with steamship Empire City. Made good weather until 10th. On the evening of the 10th, there was every ap pearance of a gale or hurricane, ship still going on course and carrying full head of steam.
