That to which the northern ice cartera resort is situated on the Caledonian road, just by the New Cattle Market. It a exterior, on ordinary occasions, is not very remarkable. It is imply brick bailt, windowless, "round bouse," with some sort of machinery that looks like a crieantio mouie trap sur mountinir its roof. Tbe ice well at Islington contain, when packed f rom floor to ceiHnjr, three thousand tons, to make op which se?en thousand load, little or biar. are reauisite. Within the past week tbe New river and the Ham atesd and ether ponds have yielded so prolific1 crop that the great well was within four days of beinfr full.
