Yellowstone Monitor E. A. MARTIN, Publisher. S.iu)scription Price. $2.00 Year. THURSDAY, JULY 9, 1908. THE FLOWERING OF GENIUS By Mrs. John A. Logan. Within the past half century native rgenius has apparently been more abun dant in the American race than in any other on the globe, especially genius ,,f an inventive character. Tha proba hlilities are that this comes from the m.ingling of blood from all nations with that of our own, the environment which encompasses the encouragement g\lv,-n to every aspirant for recognition along all lines by our government and ihilanthropic injividuals. They have not always been allowed to endure the whips and scorns of outrageous fortune or been spurred to their utmost endeavor to develop the talent that was within them, but have been per nmitted to slacken their energies by supplying them with too many luxuries. There is no denying the old adage that "n...

THORPE HOST The Lutheran Church people gave a surprise on Rev. Thorpe Wednesday evening at the home of the minister in honor of his recent wedding.
