MORGAN, BORN AUG. 5th, 1851; DIED FEB. 25th, 1908 Judge Morgan is dead! was the sad news that was rapidly spread from home to home in Knox City early Tuesday morning and immediately the sad inteligence was flashed over the telephone wires to all parts of the county and everywhere the news was received with deep sorrow and re* gret, for Judge Morgan was one of the most lova- ble and popular citizens of this part of the state. "A good and useful man has gone," was the uni- versal response wherever the news was spread. And it's true. All Are Invited to Hear Him. MRS. R. E. BELL. * A Daughter of the Late Judge Mor- gan Dies Unexpectedly at the Morgan Home in this City. Perhaps the saddest death that has ever occurred in Knox City was that of Mrs. R. E. Bell, of Munday, which occurred at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mor- gan, last Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Mrs. Bell had come over from her home in Munday ssveral days before her father died to be with him in his last days and after the burial of her distinguished father on Tuesday she was not able to return home.
