As that individual was known to many of our l eaders, and as some of them suffered considerably by his financial opera- tions, we make the following extract: Tho latest and most interesting piece of lucal intelligence, is the arrest of the notori «us Parker H French', on charge of obtain Ing money under false prctences. Some month or two since he deposited with house in this city, several boxes, which he represented as containing opium. They were just such boxes as opium is put up in.
