To the Editor.       Sir.— Pray allow me a small space in your paper to adyise my Brother Wholesale Dealers in wine and spirit, to proceed forthwith to the Police Magistrate of their respective districts, and request him to place his signature upon their license, otherwise there are Magistrates who hold although you apply to the proper officer for a license, receive and pay for it, and are gazetted as a Licensed Dealer in wine and spiritious liquors by command of the Chief Authority, you are not duly licenced, and they will convict you. I leave the absurdity of putting such a con- struction upon the Act in Council on it a more fit opportunity, and subscribe myself, yours truly, A Marked Man.   Launceston, February 20, 1835.
