Queen Alexandra, who is the oldest daughter of His Majesty King Christian of Denmark, married the present King of England , on 10th March, 1863.

Macrossan of his appointment as as- sociate to his Honor, Mr. Justice Real, and as deputy sheriff during any sittings of the- Supremo Court at Brisbane, has been accepted as from November 14. The vacancy has been filled by Mr. Edward T. Real.

The gold is somewhat angular in form, as if it had been shed from the neighboring hills, and the wash is only IS inches deep. Considerable excitement prevails in tho township of Einasleigh. All thc available residents«have rleared out to tho new rush. Thc local butcher has forsaken the cleaver for thc pan- ning dish, nnd even tho mailman' has handed his round to a substitute.
