The vweather in the borning did not look very inviting, occasional .lighy siowers falling, but later on in the day it cleared up. The gamuo commnenced about three o'clock, the l'yramidites playing two menu short. A. Westblade captained the Movers, and C. Gregory the 'vramnid team. There was a strong breeze blowing fronm the north-east, and the hovers, who won the t3ss, decided to kick towards the south goal. The ball, on being kicked off by Pyramid, was smartly taken back by the 'flvers, and the play for a time was inl very close quarters to the Pyrniunid goal. A bit of good play from the visitor's " backs" took the ball out of danger fior a time, but O'Dwyer, getting hold of the ball, marked to Esl.inatsse, who tried a shot for a go:al, but only obtained a behind as'the result. In the Legislative Council. on Tuesday, Colonel Sargood was informed by Mr. Cuthbert tlhat the Govertunent did not iittend to propose the appointment of a select counnittee to enqtuire into the ques tion of an increase of the members of the Council and a redistribution of the provinces. The debate on tim second reading of the Public Health Bill was resumed by Colouel Sargood, who ilp p roved of the general scope of the bill, but said lie would prefer to sec the powers of the Central Board of Health enlarged instead of the creation of a Minister of Health. Mr. Zeal criticised the bill in a hostile spirit, and indicated that lie would propose several anlend imellts in conunittee. THE LAKE BOGA DROWNING CASE. RECOVERY OF ONE OF THE BODIES. [FROM OUR SWAN HILL CORRESPONDENT).   The body of the unfortunate man Kolpin, who, with his son, was drowned at Lake Boga last month, was found on Sunday afternoon, entangled in a wire fence, by a man named Alfred Baker. The latter was looking for cattle at the time, and, observing a shade in the water, lifted the wire, and saw it was the body of a man. He then rode into Swan Hill, and gave information to the police, who brought the body in. An enquiry was held at the Court House on Monday, when a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. The body of the boy has not yet been recovered.
