MAIZENA, for Blanc Mange, Minute Pudding, Baked Pudding, Boiled Custard, Mock Cream, Ice CreamPies, Cakes, <tc. The MAIZENA is one of the most wholesomenutritidus and agreeable articles of food in the whole range of farinaceous substances, and is an important addition to the national bill of fare. It maybe cooked in all the forms mentioned above, and many more which good housewives will readily discover. It in manufactured from the choicest white Southern Corn, and put up in pound packages, with directions for use. The water used in the process of production is obtained from natural springsand is quite free from the impurities that always contaminate streams gathered from hill-sides and flowing on the earth's surface for long distances. Hence its whiteness. It is a choice item for dessert and the Eick-room, being quite equal to t ' he best Bermuda Arrow Root. For sale by my24 WM. DOCK. Jk. & CO.

Cotton Grown in Maryland.—The editor, of tho Register, published at Middletown, Frederick county, Md., has received from Mr _* Henry K. Young a stalk of native cotton, grown on the farm of his father, near that place, containing several bolls, well matured.
