Stillman, by whom these incidents of the old days in Bisbeo are given, W. 11. Martin, John ,13allard, A. C. McLean, John Kvcra, M. ' Mitchell and Louis Williams arrived in this camp. Martin and Ballard had bonded the Copper Queen property and enjoyed the distinction of being the lirst man who opened up the now world famous and wealthy Copper Queen mine. On Saturday evening un old Mexican named Christobal Para wad knocked down near the slag dump by tho horses ridden by Kay Chlsholm and Junes Weiss and died almost instantly. Tho boys wero riding homo and wero not, according to tho evidence, riding at a very rapid pace. Tho old man was walking along the road, und was on tho opposite side to tho upproaohing horsemen. He ap peared to be unconscious of thoir pres ence and at the very moment when they were almost level with him, turned and walked in front of tho the horses.
