It pays in the return of cattle strayed and stolen. The 'rni rio Cattle Company, located south of the Arkansas, advertised and had several cattle reported and returned. Two were reported from Iowa and one from Denver. Tan Box Rivm valley is conceeded to be the most beautiful, fertile, pro ductive and to contain a greater amount of available agricultural land than any other in the territory. From its mouth, twenty miles below here, to the forks, thirty miles above, there is scarcely an acre of land on either side of the river, which could not be cultivated with satisfhctory results. From the forks, following up the north branch for thirty miles or so, are beautiful bottom lands and green valleys, many of which have not a ranch located in them as yet.
