Little damnage was done. The navy department bas approved the court-martial proceedings at Bos ton by which Commander Charles C. Marsh was convicted of running the cruiser Yankee aground at Buzaszard's bay on Sept. 23. He it the mso-la-law of Admiral Robley D. Evans. The court sentenced him to lose forty numbers, but the department reduced It to twenty-five on account of pre vious good service.
