At n recent lncetiug of Iho Furmcr's Club, Prof. Mnpcs mntlo tho following remarks in regnrd lo boiling food for hogs: "The jroof of tho Bnving of food by boiling iins.bccn given here, nnil .as it can be Btntccl in a very few words wo may ns well have it. Mr. JInson was n, watch maker in Canulen, N. J., and among other fancies ho liked to keep hogs. Ho had his hog-pen jnst back of his shop, so that ho could sit athis window and watch his hogs. Every spring ho bought, some pigs and fed them through tho season. Just opposite of Mr. Ma rou was the storo of Mr. Van Arsdalo, and every pound of food that Mr. Ma son gave to his pigs ho bought at this storo.
