SNIPS JOHlSrS HERALD. Plfer McQoriigle and Charles McLean, twq muling men of Plastaff, al mlsing and it is feared that they met their death by drowning in the Colorado river at the Grand Canyon. They left Flagstaff un July 37th, with the intention of ciossiugf the Colorado river and have not been heard of since. Telegrams have been received stating that the missing: men never reached the opposite side of the river. The text books to be used in the public schools of Arizona for the next four years were adopted by the territorial board of educa tion, in session at I' hoe nix last week.
