CONCENTRATION. Htfethod for Working Iow Grade Ore. Sapt. Foulkehas for several weeks &n experimenting with two of kg's concentrators at the Star mill. rWe took a walk tip to the mill a Ray or two ago and found these ma chines running smoothly and in per fect order. Five stamps are used to icrush the pulp that feeds them, and foi course, the poorest grade of ore is selected for these stamps. By this i method of concentration S?25-ore is worked to a profit, 75-per cent, being realized from its assay value. No SO screens were at first employed on the concentrators, but a gradual gra ding down showed improved results, untill now a No. 16 is in use, and Mr. 3?oulke thinks a No. 12 or 1-L will be an improvement even on that. The Jesuit of the experiment so far has been entirely satisfactory, and Mr, Foulke believes that this proces will prove the salvation of his company, and cannot fail to do wonders for all rdistric4ts whose mines carry large F quantities of low grade ore that can n...
