Country roads should be the theme of our county commission ers at every meeting of their body, the theme of every voter in every precinct in the county It should conventloll be the popular every day theme of | the business man in the city and country, and most assuredly coun- try roads should be the continued theme of the farmers. In Belgium a dog draws to and from market in worst of weather a load that would stall any one horse wagon in Brazoria county in the same bad weather. Spain, Germany and England rec- ognize the incalculable import- ance of good roads. We would advocate a district bureau for roads and bridges. A superin tendent should preside over every bureau.
