The first of the expedition arrived here on the 15th inst., and every thing appears favo- rable to the cause. The men are com- ing in hourly, and in numbers. Infor- mation has reachtd here of great inte- rest to the cause. The people are said to be anxious, on the opposite bank of the river, for the arrival of the auxiliary troops from Texas.
