Letters to Soldiers. NEW FORM OF ADDRESS. It is desired by the military authorities abroad that tbo word " Australia" be included in everything addressed to any of the unit?, lieuce the necessity for including the words '•Australian Imperial Force," instead of" A.I.F." Confusion is being caused by the Australian correspondents using the letters "A.F.A." instead of writing tho words " Australian Field Artillery" in full in the addresses on letters and parcels intended for members of that unit. Tha " Army Field Artillery," a British unit, uses the same initials. Instructions have been issued that correspondence is to be adsressed to " Australian" Field Artillery. In the case of infantry the distinguishing letter of the Company to which the soldier is attached should be shown thus:— No. 1231, Private Thomas Atkins, "B"Oompany, 21st Infantry Battalion, Austruliau Imperial Force, Abroad.
