CONCERT AT HEIDELBERG. [Newspaper Article] — Heidelberg News and Greensborough, Eltham and Diamond Creek Chronicle — 2 September 1916

CONCERT AT HEIDELBERG. Great interest attaches to the forth coming concert in the Heidelberg Re creation Hall next Thursday, September •. In the first place the performers are all artists in the true sense of the word, and in the second place they are contri buting items of special musical value. It is a programme that at once appeals to all loversof rhusic, and the residents of this district are fortunate in having such a one practically at their doors. Mr. Walter Kirby is too well known to need any introduction, except to say that it is always 'dcligh.tful to listen to his beauti ful voice and sympathetic singing. It is interesting to note that the ladies were all, atone time, students of the Mfarshall. Hall Conservatorium, where they gradu ated in the splendid musical atmosphere created by that eminent musician, Pro fessor Marshall-Hall. Since then they have developed anid profited by the ad vantages of foreign travel, and appear now as the cultured artists, that all those who rc...
