THE MORDIALLOC CREEK. The desirability of an improvement in the Mordialloc Creek, by the constructioni of sheet-piling, was on Tuesday brouight under the notice of the Commissioner- of Trade and Customs by a number of resi dents from:the:district of Mordialloc and Mornington. At one time the sand in the creek was distributed in different places, and the result was that aseveral tirrgiilar channels were formed. Sheet piling was put down on the Mordialloc side, and as a consequence the channel has tended in that direction. The in Is ihabitants of the district'have had reasonto believo that were similar piling erected on the opposite side of the creek a permanent :,channel would be created, and a harbour of refuge formed for fishing boats, yachts, &c..
