Not less than eight years ago, the people and especially the merchants of that town realized the fact that the eastern entrance to the Yellowstone National park was littie advertised to the public beyond their com munity, and at that time the tourists numbered not more than 100 during the season. In 1913 the tourists who en tered the park over the Sylvan Pasfc or the eastern en trance numbered more than 2000. This is the direct re sult of advertising beyond the community. Chandler, after an illness of several weeks, with which he was effected several years. Me was brought to the home of the latter about two weeks ago from his ranch near Roy,, with the anticipation that love and tend er care would restore to him that robust health which he for so many years enjoyed.
