Major Mlllon wa a commissioner in the Confederate army. While acting in that capacity, he had charge at one time of many thousand head of hogs, which were col lected together in Mississippi when the cholera broke out among them. Imme diately on discovering the prevalence of the disease he aays he began to exert himself to aave as many as possible. He separated them as well as possible, keeping the Infected ones apart. There la probably no style of draft horses harder to supply than this, and if our breeders will turn their attention to it we feel sure it will prove profitable. Heavy horses we have in auflleleut numbers, but most of them are too slow and ex hibit too little spirit and endurance for the business.
