LOCAL AND PERSONAL NEWS "I Know not what the truth may be, 1 tell to you as 'twas told to me." Ür. H. Reeve Johnson left yesterday for Springerville where he intends to reside awhile. The local option election is being: held today. We will tell you more about it next week. Rev. Father Vabre, of Flag staff, arrived in town today and will hold services in the Catholic church tomorrow. Ben Schuster and wife of St. Johns, are visiting: in Mesa with Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson. Mrs. Schuster and Mrs. Nelson are sis ters. Mesa Free Press. Sheriff Peralta returned this week from Ft. Defiance with the Indian he was after. The In dian was given a hearing before the Justice of the Peace there and plead guilty to the crime and was brought here to await the action of the grand jury. John T. Lesueur and J. B.
