The usu ul rate is one tenth. The are calcula ting on a yield of over thirty-three bushels per acre. The committee on farms of the State Agricultural Society of Wisconsin, have made a careful estimate, from which they set down the wheat crop of Wisconsin for the year lSO'J at twenty-tico vuiuuna oj lushcU. This will probably exceed the crop of any other State in the Union. In 1850 according to the census, the heaviest wheat growing State was Pennsylvania whose crop amounted to 15,307,09 1 bush els.
