Republican State Convention A Republican State Convention to nominate cnd dates lor state officers, and electors lor President and Vice President of the United States, and for the transaction of other business, will he held at the Opera House, in the city of Lansing, at 13 o'clock noon, on Thursday, Au gust 8, ltt In accordance with a resolution adopted at Grand Rapids, May 10, 1876, every county will be entitled to one delegate lor each 500 of the total vote cast tor Governor in 1874, and one addition al delegate lor each fraction of 900 votes; but every organized county will be entitled to at least one delegate.
