B. D. Wilson, which occurred at hit home at Lake Vineyard, yester day morning. In many respects Col. Wilson was a noteworthy and j admirable man. He baa filled many stations of a public charac ter, which fact renders proper and inevitable a pangyric, now that he has passed from amongst us. We take a pride in dwelling upon the pronounced virtues of this distin guished man. It was our privilege to bave known him personally for a period of tnly three years; but, brief as this span was, it unfolded to us,the salient features of a char acter noble and original—a charac /tei which, we regret to say, is rap idly becoming exotic in these cor rupt later days. He recounted various pending bills for relief, mostly of the Southern seotiou, intended to deplete the Treasury. Their support would be mostly among Democrats and their opposition among Republicans.
