A Despicable Act. SUGAR IN BENZINE TANK. [Newspaper Article] — Nambour Chronicle and North Coast Advertiser — 15 June 1923

A Despicable Act. SUGAR IN BENZINE TANK. During the progress of the Church of England Bait on Friday evening last, a motor lorry owned by Mr. Rogers, of Wbombye, stationed alongside the premises of Mr. Victor Nash, dentist, was the scene of a despicable act by an unprincipled mob of hooligans. Mr. Rogers had driven to Nambour with a party to attend the ball, and when the time came to return home the nosltlnn &3 statprt nhnvp wn« re vealed. : All efforts to start were futile, and the lorry was towed to the Returned Soldiers' Garage, where the tank was cleaned, and made ready for service the next day. The party meanwhile, hired a car and returned to Woombye. Several mean and low down acts have been rec...
