We had a pretty hard timo of it when fiist we landed, as wo wore met with almosb impregnable clills and a con tinual fire from the Turks. THE WAR. Two air raids by Zeppelins have been made on England this week. In the first, on Tuesday night, there were 56 casual ties. In Wednesday night's raid the casualties totalled 106, including 12 men, 2 women and 6 children killed. In cach case there were some fires, and damage to dwellings. It is reported that a conference has been arranged between Greece, Bulgaria, Roumania and Servia. It is officially announced that the Czar will personally take chief command of the Russian forces on land and sea. Intense military activity prevails at Vladivostock. The wharves are loaded with war materials from Japan, Europe and America. The transportation of or dinary freight over the Siberian railway is limited from 20 to 30 tons daily, and the rest of the cars are devoted to the car riage of war supplies.
