WOOD AM iLLI NG. Wgodanilltng, Feb. 26 There is a joy in our midst: Woodanilling feels mighty in its pleasure: Had we a peal of bells they would be rung unceasingly for a week. The reason ? Well, we are to have a Roads;Board of our very own.' An accident, fortunately not attended with a seri.jus result, occurred to K. Leonard, working for E.. Willi elm, near Woodanilling, on Wednesday, Leonard was thrown' from the shafts of the wagon he was driving, and the wood-loaded vehicle, representing a weight'of ever two tons, passed over his back. .1 eonard was severely bruised about the back and loins In the evening Mr Wilhelm con veyed I.eonard io the Katanning Hospital whereat the sufferer received every attention,* and had st> far recovered from the effects of his mishap on Thursday evening that he was able to leave the institution.

KOJOfJUP. Kojontjp,- February 24 At a meeting of the Kojpnup A. and H. Society, held on; the 14th inst.," Mr A. E. Warburfcon wae elected delegate to the Pro ducers' Conference, ; to be held in .Perth on March 24' next. After the above meeting the necessity of forming a progress league was discussed. All those present was formed into a provisional committee. Mr L. F. VanzuKbom was elected chairman, and J. M. Flanagan hon sec. pro torn. It was decided to hold a public meetidg in Eejonup on March. 21, at 2,30 p.m., for the purpose of urging on the Government the advisibility of construction a railway from Bridgetown through Kojonup to the Great Southern line. Great interest is being taken in this matter, and it is expected there will be a large at tendance at the meeting.
