The Town Clerk of Malvern wrote in regard to the Width of Tyres Act, stating that the Govt rnor-in-Council had reduced the load to be carried by vehicles in Malvern from 4 cwt per £ inch of tyre to 3 cwt. The St. Kilda council was asked LO adopt a similar loading, so that uniformity would be obtained.
