Loss , of a Coasting Steamer News was received at Melbourne, from; Mario, oh Wednesday night, to the effect that the small' coasting, steamer Bogong. ?had Bprung a leak about a mile and a half from' the Snowy River entrance, and had sunk. The captain and two men were saved, but five othors are miss mg. The'Bogong traded between the Lakes Entrance and Mallacoota Inlet. She was a wooden, steamer of 82 tons gross regie- ? tor.. She was formerly named the Bairns dale, and was : built at WilliamstowK (Vic.) iuT876 for the Gippsland Lakes trade, her' owners being the Lakes Navi- ' gation Company,' Limited. The Bairns dale was purchased by Messrs. G.
