? ? ? ACTION OH" PUBLICATION BY TEE SYNOD OF GENESE1. Ji'xtract from tbe minutes of tne Synod of benesee, at Rochester, September, 1860. Tbe Committee to whom was referred the action of our General Assembly on the Publication cause, would respectfully report, that Synod heartily concur in this action, and accordingly endorse their recommendations to the Churches, The society should have at least §25 ,000 as a working capital, and the employment of Mr. Chester on this field as an agent of this cause, we eonsider'as a wise act of the Committee, and cordially recommend him. We are but imperfectly awakened to our wea...

A full representation, an animated and successful meeting, they feel , would b.j an invaluable aid to them in their work of _building up our branch, of the Church in their city and Presbytery: They have a new church edifice iu which to|welcbme us,—one of the handsomest and most commodious belonging to our body,—and their hearts and homes will be thrown open to us with the utmost cordiality. Let us go in sui-h force as to gladden the hearts of the venerable and genial patriarch of our Church in this section...
