The body of a young woman was found on Thursday morning in the water!under Irish Creek bridge, on the line of the Reading railroad, near Hohrsville. Her throat was cut, and it is the general belief, for fhe nature of the wound, that she was murdered. The unfortunate victim proves to have been Miss Adeline Bavor, a young lady of •bout twenty-one years, well and favorably known In the neighborhood where she resided. She had left her home that morning on foot to visit some of her friends, intending to go then to the agricultural fair at Reading. Nothing more was seen ©f her till the body was found as stated. The mattor is undergoing investigation before Esquire C9ouser,of£Mohrsville. Besides the cutting of the throat, there were two stabs in ' the breast. The young woman is supposed to have been murdered for her money and the jewelry she had on.. The tragedy has caused a great excitment among the _fwple _^ bnt no clue to the murderer has been found.

Chester Case, a silk pedlar, was killed at Cherryville, near Easton, Pa., on Friday last, While unhitching his horses. He had loosened the traces and was in the act of unloosing tie tongue-strap, when he. fell, and tlrti horses becoming frightened started off, and two mHeels passed over his head, killing him instantly. He is well known throughout the country and many in town bad become acquainted with him, having been in this section very often. From _letters found in his pocket, it issupposed the deceased has a brother and sister living in Hartford, Connecticut.—- He was buried at Cherry ville.
